Privacy policy
Commodity Origins is a static website. It has no accounts, no logins and no comment system, and it sets no cookies by default.
What is collected
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Page-view counts collected without cookies or fingerprinting; it records the page, referrer, country and browser class, not you. How it works.
- Hosting logs. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, URL) for a short period to run and protect the service.
- Email. If you write to us or subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your address and message to reply and to send the newsletter, and delete it when you ask.
- Optional analytics. If Google Analytics is ever enabled it loads only after you accept the consent banner; declining keeps it off. Details on the cookies page.
What is not collected
No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no selling or sharing of personal data, no profiling. Company sections on commodity pages contain corporate facts only and nothing about private individuals.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Email the address on the contact page.
Data endpoints
Our JSON and CSV files are public and contain no personal data.
